With the rich history of the past there are some true stories buried and forgotten along with these events. Most are even clueless about the names of the most important people that should truly be remembered.

1. The Boston Massacre

This historical event seemed brutal because of the word “Massacre” but no one really remembered what actually took placed on that day. This was the event where the British soldiers killed a lot of civilian by gun shots due to American rebellion against King George III.

2. Altamont Free Concert of 1969

The Rolling Stone will never be forgotten! However, the Altamont Free Concert of 1969 is long forgotten, the day that Meredith Hunter was murdered during the concert by the security called as “Angles” who saw her with a pistol while approaching the stage.

3. Kent State Shootings

The most important event forgotten in Kent state was the shooting of numerous students, most of them died. This event is also called the May 4 Massacre. The students were protesting against the government during Nixon’s era.

4. The Moscow Theatre Massacre

2002 was the year the Moscow Theatre Massacre occurred. Chechens put 850 people on hostage as they request to be released from Russian forces. Surprisingly, a concerned citizen suddenly went up to the rebels by passing the barricade of militaries.  This heroic gesture helped released the hostage.

5. The Bobby Kennedy Assassination

Most people recall the Kennedy assassination and The Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, the place where this awful even took place.  The brave man who actually confined and disarmed the gunman is forgotten by many. The hero of the day was actually a sport man and an Olympic athlete.

6. 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami

Sumatra, Indonesia was hit by a Tsunami last December 26, 2004. The indigenous and cultural rituals of the villagers are the said reason why many people are saved from the deadly Tsunami. The tribesman claimed that they have identified the signs of the water rising beforehand and went up to the hills as fast as they can.

7. The terrorist attacks of 9/11

Who can forget one of the most tragic historical events in the United States?  The attack of the Twin towers. The casualties were tremendous and a lot of lives were destroyed.  Since the high light of the event focused on the twin towers, other establishments on side that was also destroyed were forgotten. St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church is one of them, just so you know.

8. Japan’s Emperor after Hiroshima

The end of the war also ended a lot of Japanese’ spiritual believed on the Shinto religion. Japan’s breakdown on their sacred credence that was suddenly shattered yet was never acknowledged.

9. Mass suicide at Jonestown

The mass suicide of cult members that includes men, women and even children, with 900 people dead body counted. However, the heroic act of Congressman Ryan who was killed, was allegedly executed by one of the cult members whose name was forgotten.

10. Man on the moon

A report was made the Kennedy’s sola motive is to make sure that he will do everything and willing to spend a lot of money just to make sure that US will land on the moon before the Russian. Kennedy was not even interested in Space, a forgotten statement that was revealed.
